Our mission is to connect people through storytelling. Using interactive narratives in films, games and technology, we turn complex issues in science, healthcare, and education into immersive stories that are easy to understand, engaging to experience, and shared across cultures.

OUR TEAM

Eric Bomba-Ire is an award-winning Ghanaian filmmaker and creative entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in global film production.

Eric has contributed to notable production companies, including Starz, Lionsgate, and Netflix.​ 

 

He founded CinemATL in 2005, promoting Atlanta as a film hub, and co-founded ATLiER Props & Design, the first Black-owned prop shop in the U.S. His projects have gained recognition, including a fellowship at the Sundance Screenwriter-Intensive, with his screenplay, "I Hear You", in development.

 

At InceptR, Eric leads a pioneering platform that merges interactive storytelling, technology, and global narratives to bridge the gap between science, healthcare, education, and the arts. His passion lies in bringing together creatives to explore experiences that resonate across cultures to foster critical global conversations.

ADVISORY BOARD

Jason James is one of the top decision makers in the most influential tech companies in the world. An  award-winning Chief Information Officer (CIO) with over 20 years of transformative leadership experience in private equity-backed and publicly traded companies. As a respected industry expert, Jason is frequently sought after for his insights, speaking at events, and contributing to top-tier publications and podcasts like Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, CIO.com, IDG, and The Enterprisers Project. Jason focuses on international and partner relations to drive digital transformation initiatives and navigate the strategic planning of complex mergers, acquisitions, and startups.

Katherine Marshall Woods, Psy.D, is a licensed clinical psychologist and media psychologist. She is the founder of  PsychMinded Media and a core faculty at The George Washington University Professional Psychology Program. Katherine co-leads the Psychoanalytic Views on Cinema series in collaboration with the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis and also contributes to Psychology Today where she shares her insights on psychology, film, and media.  She plays an integral role in developing Cinematic Imprints with the American Psychological Association’s Division 39.  She has authored **Best Psychology in Film**,  and hosts a podcast and television show of the same name. 

Hartmut Koenitz is the President of ARDIN (Association for Research in Digital Interactive Narratives) Chair of COST Action INDCOR (Interactive Narrative for Complexity Representations) and a leading European researcher in technology and art that drives innovative interdisciplinary projects in computational media. His work in video games and interactive narratives highlights their role as impactful cultural practices and exciting forms of digital entertainment. With a strong track record in managing extensive multi-year digital media projects, He has authored books, articles, and research papers to address complex issues and perspectives and how to leverage technological innovation for new artistic expression.

Michael Friedman is a senior manager of VOD Editorial at Cox Communications, where he leads the shaping of entertainment content through innovative marketing and merchandising strategies for television and movies. Renowned as the "entertainment content guru," he has an impressive command of pop culture and the entertainment industry. His extensive expertise encompasses content strategy, editorial curation, social media, video production and editing, digital marketing, graphic design, copywriting, blogging, and UX design and management. He is an award-winning filmmaker and a highly skilled content strategist.

Dr. Lionel Mbanda is an Energy Specialist with expertise in climate finance, impact investment, clean energy transition, green development, geoscience, and technology industries. He designs strategic programs focused on youth advocacy, leadership development, partnerships, and empowerment to drive sustainability forward.  Dr. Mbanda is an active member of several organizations, including the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth (UN MGCY), the SDG 7 Youth Constituency, the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS), theGlobal Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN), and the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate Change (GAUC)
