This series records seven mental health accounts and perspectives from Africa and the  diaspora in the Americas, and the U.K. From professionals, and life and career coaches to mental heath survivors patients,  it aims to identify common challenges and cultural perceptions while offering promising solutions. By leveraging the power of storytelling, the series seeks to foster empathy, encourage self-reflection, and promote therapeutic community engagement. It also aims to inspire conversations between educators and students, mental health experts and patients, as well as parents and children.

Approach: Narration structure, combination interviews, re-enactments. We used a first-person point of view—to narrate and preserve the authenticity of the storyteller's accounts.

Mental health challenges, from anxiety to depression, are rising globally, particularly among young populations.

This felt like therapy. Until this point, I have not shared my story in a way where I felt heard. It's always been passive. This process was engaging.
